Origami Rose Wine: A Unique and Sustainable Approach to Winemaking
Origami rose wine is a unique type of ros wine produced using a groundbreaking technique inspired by the Japanese art of paper folding. In this method, perfected by the renowned winemaker Jean-Michel Gerin, individual layers of paper are meticulously folded into intricate rose-like structures, which are then placed inside stainless steel tanks filled with ros wine. The paper acts as a natural filter, removing harsh tannins and impurities while imparting subtle floral and fruity notes to the wine.
